Ink Master Season 13 and 14 contestant and 2023 Co Best In Show Winner, black and grey specialist and co-owner of Basilica Tattoo. Hiram Casas is an artist and former graphic designer from Havana, Cuba. He discovered his love for drawing at a very young age. In 2009 Hiram graduated from the Fine Arts Academy of Havana, where he was introduced to painting, sculpting and digital arts. He started tattooing in 2011 and fell in love with the “new” technique. Hiram is an active creator and a meticulous technician, his work is known for his attention to detail, high contrast and smooth transitions. Hiram is always learning and focused on becoming a better artist. In his own words, he is “very fortunate of being able to do his hobby as a full time job”. Black and grey Realism/surrealism is what he enjoys tattooing the most.

Currently tattooing at Shokunin Tattoo In Portland OR, Bob does frequent the Tattoo Convention circuit often collecting many trophies for his work. Creativity being one of Bobs strong points his design process is very in depth and ensure his clients get a truly 1 of a kind tattoo .

Diving in head first at an early age with mentorship from his brother Jimmy among other well respected Artists in the field, Kyle began specializing in American Traditional Tattoos. By bringing his own specific skillset and artistic background to the genre, He has become a true master at his trade. Kyle’s work is recognizable, bold and stands the test of time. We are beyond excited to have him as part of the Flower City Tattoo Convention.

Angel is well known for her large scale tattooing that sprawls across large areas of her client’s bodies. Although Angel is known for her black and grey work, she also has a passion for bright, colorful illustrative and neo-traditional tattooing.

“Gentle” Jay Blondel, contrary to his attitude is named so for his light hand and fineline line abilities, was one of the most controversial and outspoken contestants on Ink Master, season 4. He later was featured on the Inkmsaster’s New Years Eve special and Ink Master Redemption. Gentle Jay’s close attention to detail is why he is known for his black and gray, fineline, cover-ups, realism and traditional tattooing. He has been tattooing for 25 years and his shop Kinetic Body Art Gallery, located on Long Island, NY has been operational since 2017. He is also witty as hell… is anyone even reading this? I feel like they just asked me to give them this thing so I could’ve said anything I wanted like “Gentle Jay Blondel is anything but living off of the trillions of dollars he collects every year from the world for not destroying it” or some such nonsense and no one even checked… ok well, see you at the convention then
